We raise animals differently.

Situated on the side of a PA mountain, Ree’Nor Ranch (named after our daughters’ nicknames Ree’ and Nora) takes great pride in raising animals “differently.” From pasture raised cattle to woodlot pork, the wellbeing of our animals and our planet is our #1 concern. Follow us to learn how and what we do what we do! We’d love to have you join us!

Our Specialty - Woodlot Heritage Pork

There’s no slop pens for our hogs! Our Heritage bred Large Black Hogs enjoy moving through woodlots, making their own wallows and rooting for all the goodies nature has to offer. They are never confined to a barn or building and are even born in the woods!

LBHs are great foragers. They enjoy rooting for grubs, eating brush and sampling all of natures best nuts including black walnuts, acorns and more. When they find any wild berries, they can’t help themselves, they eat the entire bush!

We believe this is what sets our meat apart from the rest. They are healthy, happy and eat only the best things nature has to offer, along with a specialty grain that we mill and mix ourselves. No fillers, no additives. Just the way nature intended.

We believe it’s our job to provide healthy meats, which starts with healthy animals.

Behind the Scenes —

We use herbs and natural remedies to keep our animals healthy: Apple Cider Vinegar in the water, herbs mixed with their feed, and lots of homegrown goodies like fruits and vegetables are given routinely. In fact, this is how we live our lives as well! Be sure to sign up for our emails and follow our blog to learn more.
